Friday Night Shoot
(Practice on Range 2)

To be prepared for IDPA and real-life self-defense encounters it is necessary to be able to shoot from behind cover, shoot targets that move, and shoot targets that may appear and then disappear.  This requires the use of special props.  These are often not available to the average shooter at his range.

On select Fridays we hold a special practice session on Range 2 (see our Class/Match Schedule).  This session will be a two hour period of practice where the participant can shoot as much or as little as he desires.  The session will consist of at least six shooting stations that will enable the shooter to use all of the available props on Range 2 to improve his shooting skills.

These props will include (but are not limited to):

The participant will be able to rotate through each station numerous times and gain practical experience in the use of props that are used in many IDPA matches.  There will be no instruction during these sessions, but we will be there to answer questions and oversee the safe use of the range.

Prerequisite:  In order to attend these sessions a shooter must have completed Steps 1 and 2 OR be a regular participant in our IDPA-style matches.

Required Equipment:

Time:  6:00 PM to 8:00 PM  (Occasionally a second session from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM may be available)

Reservations / Cancellation Policy:  To guarantee a spot in the session send us an e-mail (Shoot2Live@att.net) with your commitment to attend.  NOTE: We take you at your word.  We promise to be there.  We expect the same from you.  A reservation guarantees you space and it is therefore a promise to pay the session fee even if your plans change.

No Reservation Walk-ins:  We will accept shooters without reservations as long as there is room.

Late Arrivals:  The door to the range is locked at 6:00 PM.  If you arrive late, please call 919-741-8808 for entrance.  Due to range noise we will open the door as soon as possible after we “feel the vibration" of your call.

Session Fee:  $35.00

Duration:  Two Hours

Ammunition:  This is up to you, but we suggest a minimum of 200 rounds.

Revised: 6/13/11
